Anigozanthos 'Big Red' is a striking cultivar of Kangaroo Paw, prized for its large, deep red flowers that appear on tall, sturdy stems. These vibrant blooms emerge from late spring through summer and are a magnet for native birds, adding colour and life to garden beds and borders. The foliage is dense, strappy, and green, forming a clumping base that contrasts beautifully with the bold flower spikes.
This plant stands approximately 400–500mm high and is showing strong vertical growth. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soils, performing well in both garden beds and pots. Drought-tolerant once established, it's a great low-maintenance option for modern landscapes, native gardens, or as a feature plant in outdoor containers.
