Grevillea 'Carpet Layer' is a hardy, fast-spreading native groundcover prized for its dense, trailing habit and vibrant floral display. It produces striking clusters of toothbrush-style red-pink flowers that attract nectar-loving birds and pollinators over a long flowering season. The fine, deeply dissected green foliage adds year-round texture and coverage to garden beds, slopes, and retaining walls.
This plant is currently 420mm high and already showing strong horizontal growth and upright new shoots. Ideal for low-maintenance native gardens, embankment stabilisation, or as a living mulch between taller plants. It thrives in full sun, tolerates drought once established, and performs well in sandy or well-drained soils.
