Buddleja davidii ‘Buzz® Velvet’ (Velvet Butterfly Bush)

Buddleja davidii ‘Buzz® Velvet’ is a compact, flowering shrub admired for its rich magenta-pink flower spikes with a velvety appearance. The abundant, sweetly scented blooms stand above attractive green foliage, creating a vibrant display throughout summer and into autumn. Its nectar-rich flowers attract butterflies, bees and other beneficial pollinators, making it an excellent choice for bringing colour and wildlife into the garden.

Ideal for sunny garden borders, patio pots and mixed shrub plantings, Buddleja davidii ‘Buzz® Velvet’ offers the beauty of a traditional butterfly bush in a more manageable size. Its naturally bushy growth habit suits smaller gardens and container displays, while its long flowering season provides lasting colour. Plant it in a sunny position with well-drained soil, remove faded flower spikes to encourage further blooms, and prune in early spring to maintain a healthy, compact shape.
