Helleborus × Glandorfensis HGC® Ice N’ Roses® ‘Barolo’ (Hellebore) is a premium winter-flowering perennial from the Helleborus Gold Collection®, admired for its extra-large garnet-red to dark wine-red blooms. The rich flower colour contrasts beautifully with glossy evergreen foliage, creating a striking display during the cooler months when garden colour is often limited. The official Helleborus Gold Collection lists Barolo as flowering from January through April in the Northern Hemisphere, with 50–60cm growth and a sun to part-shade position.
This hardy, low-maintenance Hellebore is ideal for shaded borders, winter containers, balcony pots, entrance planters, and underplanting beneath trees or shrubs. Its outward-facing flowers and robust evergreen foliage give customers long-lasting seasonal impact with very little upkeep. Plant Delights also lists Barolo as evergreen, suitable for part sun to light shade, with dark wine-red outward-facing flowers above a wide clump.
