Hibbertia scandens ‘Groundswell™’ is a compact, improved form of the native Australian guinea flower, selected for its dense, tidy ground-covering habit. Unlike the more vigorous and scrambling wild type, this cultivar stays more controlled and uniform, making it ideal for modern landscapes where structure and manageability are important.
It produces masses of bright golden-yellow, five-petalled flowers that appear throughout much of the year, set against lush dark green foliage. These blooms are highly attractive to pollinators, including bees and butterflies, contributing to a biodiverse garden environment.
Exceptionally hardy, Groundswell™ performs well in coastal zones, sandy soils, drought-prone areas, and regions with moderate frost, making it a versatile low-maintenance groundcover for a wide range of climates.
