Photinia × Fraseri ‘NP01’ Thin Red™, commonly known as Thin Red Photinia, is a remarkably narrow evergreen shrub developed for hedging and screening in limited spaces. Its upright growth is covered with glossy foliage that emerges vibrant red before maturing to rich dark green, creating attractive year-round colour and contrast. Clusters of small white flowers appear during mid to late spring, adding further seasonal interest.
Growing approximately 3–4 metres tall while remaining only around 60 centimetres wide, Thin Red Photinia is ideal beside driveways, along boundaries, between buildings and in narrow garden beds where conventional hedges may become too broad. It responds well to pruning and can be maintained as a neat formal hedge or allowed to develop into a naturally slender screen. This space-saving habit makes it an excellent choice for customers wanting privacy without sacrificing valuable garden space.
