Acacia Parramattensis (Parramatta Wattle) is a fast-growing Australian native shrub or small tree that is naturally found in New South Wales, especially around the Parramatta and Sydney regions. It typically occurs in moist sclerophyll forests, woodland areas, and along creek lines, where it benefits from well-drained but occasionally moist soils. The plant is well adapted to disturbed environments and is often among the early species to regenerate after clearing or fire. Its growth habit is upright and bushy, making it useful for quick screening and habitat restoration projects.

The foliage is made up of fine, feathery juvenile leaves that may become more elongated phyllodes as the plant matures, giving it a soft green appearance. During late winter to spring, Acacia Parramattensis produces dense clusters of bright golden-yellow ball-shaped flowers that attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. It is moderately drought tolerant once established and can withstand light frost, making it suitable for a range of temperate garden and ecological restoration settings.
