Acer Palmatum Dissectum ‘Ellen’ Standard is an elegant green laceleaf Japanese maple with an elevated, cascading canopy and a soft, mushroom-shaped form. Its deeply dissected leaves emerge fresh lime green and create a finely textured appearance throughout spring and summer. In autumn, the foliage develops luminous yellow and golden-orange tones, providing a warm seasonal display.
Grown on a clear standard trunk, ‘Ellen’ makes an attractive feature for courtyards, entrances, containers, raised garden beds and Japanese-inspired landscapes. Its broad, weeping canopy can also be positioned near walls or garden edges where the branches are free to cascade naturally. The manageable size, refined foliage and changing seasonal colour make it an excellent choice for customers seeking a distinctive feature tree for a compact garden.
