Acer Palmatum Dissectum ‘Hana Matoi’ Standard is a spectacular variegated weeping Japanese maple distinguished by its finely cut foliage and graceful, cascading canopy. New leaves emerge bright red with striking hot-pink variegation in spring. In sunnier positions, the red colouring deepens, while plants grown with more shade may develop attractive green, white and pink tones. The foliage intensifies again during autumn, producing a vivid display of red, pink and orange.
Grown on a clear standard trunk, ‘Hana Matoi’ forms an elegant umbrella-shaped crown that beautifully displays its delicate, flower-like foliage. Its compact size makes it an excellent feature tree for courtyards, containers, entrances, Japanese-inspired gardens and smaller landscapes. Customers will appreciate its unusual variegation, refined weeping habit and strong seasonal colour, making it a premium ornamental specimen with year-round structural appeal.
