Acer palmatum – Japanese Maple

Acer palmatum, commonly known as Japanese Maple, is a highly ornamental deciduous tree prized for its elegant form, delicate hand-shaped foliage and exceptional seasonal colour. Native to Japan and southeastern Korea, this versatile maple has been cultivated in numerous forms, including upright and graceful weeping varieties.
