Agave americana 'Marginata'

Agave americana ‘Marginata’ is a dramatic, large evergreen succulent prized for its bold architectural form. It forms a stiff rosette of thick grey-green leaves, each edged with striking yellow margins and lined with sharp protective spines. Mature plants may send up an impressive flowering spike reaching up to 2 metres, producing yellow blooms before the plant completes its life cycle.

Highly drought-tolerant and ideal for dry, coastal, or Mediterranean-style gardens, rockeries, or as a statement container plant. It requires winter protection in cooler climates and prefers a warm, sheltered spot with excellent drainage.
