Agave filifera is a compact, ornamental succulent known for its striking rosette of dark green leaves decorated with fine white filament-like threads along the margins. These delicate fibres, combined with subtle leaf markings, give the plant a highly textured and decorative appearance ideal for rock gardens and container displays.
This slow-growing agave forms neat, symmetrical rosettes and produces offsets at the base over time. When mature, it sends up a tall, upright flowering spike covered in bell-shaped blooms, making a dramatic seasonal feature before the main rosette completes its life cycle.
