Agave Weberi (Weber’s Agave) is a bold, architectural succulent that develops a large, open rosette of broad, fleshy blue-grey to grey-green leaves. Its strong sculptural form provides year-round structure and makes an impressive focal point in contemporary, Mediterranean, coastal, rock and drought-tolerant gardens. Once established, it is highly drought tolerant and performs reliably in hot, exposed landscapes with minimal attention.
This striking evergreen is an excellent choice for customers seeking a hardy, waterwise feature plant with dramatic scale and long-lasting visual impact. Mature specimens eventually produce a towering branched flower spike covered with yellow to yellow-green blooms. Weber’s Agave performs best in well-drained soil and is particularly effective when planted as a standalone specimen or combined with other succulents and contrasting foliage plants.

Flowering Period & Fruit Development/Harvest
Produces a tall, branched flower spike with clusters of yellow to yellow-green flowers, generally during summer once the plant reaches maturity—often after 10–15 years or longer. The parent rosette declines after flowering, while established offsets can continue growing.
Sun tolerance
Full sun to partial shade. Full sun generally produces the strongest, most compact growth, although light afternoon protection may be beneficial in extremely hot locations.
Maintenance
: Low maintenance. Plant in free-draining soil and allow the soil to dry between watering. Remove damaged or spent lower leaves as required. Wear protective gloves and position away from busy paths because the leaves have sharp terminal points.
Root System
Shallow, fibrous and spreading, with short rhizomes that may produce offsets or pups around the parent plant.
