Aloe mitriformis (Creeping Aloe) is a sprawling succulent with long, creeping stems that produce upright rosettes of bluish-green leaves. Thick, fleshy leaves feature small white teeth along the margins and can turn reddish under stress, adding seasonal colour and texture to rockeries, embankments, or large garden plantings
This hardy, low-maintenance aloe thrives in full sun with well-drained, sandy soils and is drought-tolerant. Summer produces dense spikes of dull to bright red flowers that attract sugarbirds and pollinating insects. Ideal for rock gardens, retaining walls, or group plantings, its creeping habit makes it perfect for covering difficult or unsightly areas
