Anemone × Hybrida ‘Fantasy Belle’ (Japanese Windflower) is a compact flowering perennial admired for its masses of semi-double to double, wavy deep pink flowers with bright yellow centres. The blooms rise gracefully above lush, dark green foliage on slender branching stems, creating an elegant display from late summer through autumn. Its compact habit makes it especially attractive in borders, garden beds, containers and mass plantings beneath trees.
Easy to grow and rewarding over a long flowering period, Fantasy Belle performs particularly well in part shade with fertile, moist but well-drained soil. It tolerates some sun when moisture is adequate and benefits from protection against harsh afternoon heat and strong winds. After flowering, stems can be cut back to maintain a tidy appearance, making this a beautiful and manageable perennial for adding late-season colour to the garden.
