Anigozanthos Flavidus ‘Yellow Form’ (Yellow Kangaroo Paw) is a tall-growing Australian native perennial admired for its vivid yellow, velvety flowers held on upright stems above clumps of strap-like green foliage. Its distinctive paw-shaped blooms create a bold, architectural display and are excellent for mass planting, native gardens, borders and feature beds. The flowers also attract birds and other pollinators, adding wildlife value to the landscape.
Hardy and relatively low maintenance, Yellow Kangaroo Paw performs best in full sun to light semi-shade and well-drained soil. Once established, it has good drought tolerance, while occasional watering during hot weather and flowering helps maintain strong growth and flower production. Its tall flower stems and bright colour also make it an excellent cut flower and a strong choice for water-wise Australian landscapes.
