Aristaloe aristata, commonly known as Lace Aloe or Torch Plant, is a compact and hardy succulent formerly classified under the Aloe genus. It forms attractive, tight rosettes of dark green, triangular leaves edged with fine white teeth and dotted with raised white spots, giving the foliage a textured, lace-like appearance.
This drought-tolerant plant thrives in warm, dry, sunny environments and is well-suited to rock gardens, xeriscapes, and container planting. Mature plants may produce tall flower spikes bearing tubular orange-red blooms in summer, which are highly attractive to pollinators such as bees and birds.
