Buddleja davidii ‘Leah White’ is an elegant, compact flowering shrub admired for its masses of pure white, beautifully fragrant flower spikes and fresh green foliage. Its luminous blooms create a striking contrast against the foliage while attracting butterflies, bees and other beneficial insects, bringing colour and wildlife into the garden.
Part of the newer generation of compact Buddleja varieties, ‘Leah White’ offers reliable flowering and a naturally tidy growth habit without requiring extensive space. It is an excellent choice for modern gardens, cottage borders, low hedging and decorative containers.
This hardy, waterwise shrub thrives in full sun to partial shade and tolerates both frost and dry conditions once established. It produces flowers from early spring through late autumn, with flowering sometimes continuing into winter in mild climates. Light deadheading encourages repeat blooms, while a harder winter prune promotes vigorous, bushy growth for the following season.
