Pot Size

Buxus Microphylla var. Microphylla (Small-Leaved Box) is a compact, slow-growing evergreen shrub valued for its dense habit and glossy dark green foliage. Its naturally neat appearance makes it ideal for creating formal low hedges, defined garden borders, clipped shapes and attractive container displays. Unlike some common box varieties, its foliage does not have the strong scent often associated with traditional English box.

Hardy and adaptable, Small-Leaved Box performs well in full sun to partial shade and tolerates a wide range of well-drained soils. Once established, it requires minimal watering and only light pruning to retain its compact form. Its fine foliage and manageable mature size make it an excellent choice for courtyards, small gardens, rockeries and structured landscapes.
