Carex Oshimensis ‘CarFit01’ (Everest Japanese Sedge) is a compact, evergreen ornamental grass valued for its striking green foliage edged and striped with crisp white. Its fine, arching leaves form a neat, flowing mound that provides year-round colour and texture, making it an attractive choice for borders, edging, groundcover and containers.
Easy to grow and very low maintenance, Everest is well suited to shaded and partly shaded garden areas where its bright variegated foliage can create a fresh, eye-catching display. It also works beautifully beneath trees and shrubs, along pathways or in pots, with occasional removal of old foliage generally all that is needed to keep the plant looking tidy.
