Clytostoma callistegioides, commonly known as Lavender Trumpet Vine, is a vigorous evergreen climber admired for its lush foliage and striking trumpet-shaped flowers. The vine produces glossy green leaves with distinctive paired leaflets and curling tendrils, creating a dense, attractive screen when given suitable support.
In mid to late spring, and intermittently through summer and autumn, it produces elegant lavender-purple flowers with darker veining, adding a soft yet vibrant colour display to vertical spaces. Fast-growing and highly decorative, it is ideal for covering fences, pergolas, trellises, and walls with minimal maintenance once established.
