Coleonema ‘Compactum Gold’ (Golden Breath of Heaven)

Coleonema ‘Compactum Gold’ (Golden Breath of Heaven) is an attractive evergreen ornamental shrub valued for its fine, feathery golden-green foliage and compact, bushy growth habit. Its delicate, needle-like leaves create a soft, textured appearance, while small star-shaped pink to pale flowers may appear seasonally, adding subtle colour to the garden. The bright foliage provides a beautiful contrast against darker shrubs and green plants, making it an excellent choice for adding colour and structure to landscaped spaces.

Ideal for garden borders, rock gardens, low hedges and mass planting, Coleonema ‘Compactum Gold’ (Golden Breath of Heaven) is well suited to sunny gardens and Mediterranean-style landscapes. It prefers full sun, well-drained soil and moderate watering while establishing. Once established, it is relatively low maintenance and can tolerate dry periods, provided drainage is good. Light trimming after flowering can help maintain its compact shape and encourage dense growth.
