Crassula ovata ‘Crosby Red’, commonly known as Crosby Jade, is a compact evergreen succulent prized for its dense growth habit and glossy green leaves that develop brilliant red edges in bright sunlight and cooler weather. Smaller and tidier than the traditional Jade Plant, it is an excellent choice for containers, patios, rockeries, and water-wise landscapes.
Its naturally branching form creates an attractive, miniature shrub that requires very little maintenance. During winter to early spring, mature plants produce clusters of delicate white to pale pink, star-shaped flowers that beautifully complement the colourful foliage. Hardy, drought-tolerant, and easy to grow, Crosby Red is perfect for both beginner gardeners and succulent enthusiasts.
