Crassula ovata ‘Variegata’, commonly known as Variegated Jade Plant, is an elegant evergreen succulent prized for its attractive cream and green variegated foliage. Its thick, oval-shaped leaves feature marbled shades of green and ivory, often developing soft pink to red tinges along the edges when grown in bright light. The colourful foliage provides year-round interest, making this variety a standout feature in containers, succulent collections, and water-wise landscapes.
This slow-growing, compact succulent gradually develops a thick, woody trunk and branching stems, creating the appearance of a miniature tree with age. Mature plants may produce clusters of delicate white to pale pink, star-shaped flowers during the cooler months. Extremely hardy and easy to maintain, Variegated Jade is ideal for patios, rockeries, indoor displays, and coastal gardens.
