Cupressus macrocarpa ‘Golden Halo’ – Golden Spreading Cypress

Cupressus macrocarpa ‘Golden Halo’ is a striking evergreen cypress admired for its bright golden-yellow foliage and naturally spreading habit. Its vibrant colour provides a strong contrast against green foliage and makes it an excellent feature plant for adding year-round interest to the garden.

This vigorous cultivar can spread more than 2m during its first 10 years and may gradually increase in height as it matures. Regular pruning of upward-growing shoots is recommended when a low, spreading profile is desired. ‘Golden Halo’ can also be found grafted onto a standard, creating an attractive architectural form for formal gardens, containers and feature plantings.
