Digitalis Purpurea ‘Dalmatian Rose’ is the correct plant name. The cultivar name is Dalmatian, not Dalmation. This compact Foxglove produces elegant upright flower spikes covered in soft rose-pink, trumpet-shaped blooms with beautifully speckled throats. Its tidy growth habit makes it ideal for borders, cottage gardens, mixed perennial beds, and decorative containers. It is also one of the earliest Foxglove series to flower, often blooming in its first season.
This variety is an excellent choice for gardeners wanting reliable colour and strong vertical interest with minimal maintenance. The attractive flowers draw bees and other beneficial pollinators while creating a classic cottage-garden display. Growing well in full sun to part shade with moist, well-drained soil, Dalmatian Rose provides long-lasting seasonal beauty and makes an outstanding feature in both residential and commercial landscapes.
