Elaeocarpus reticulatus ‘Pink Form’

Elaeocarpus reticulatus ‘Pink Form’ is a hardy Australian native small tree or tall shrub admired for its attractive foliage, delicate fringed flowers and colourful berries. Naturally occurring along the eastern Australian coastline from northern Tasmania through to Queensland, it is adaptable to a variety of garden conditions.

Young foliage emerges in attractive reddish-pink tones before maturing to deep green, while older leaves can develop rich red colouring, providing year-round seasonal interest. During spring and summer, clusters of delicate pink, feathery flowers hang from the branches like tiny lampshades. These are followed by distinctive dark blue berries, adding another layer of ornamental appeal.

Its combination of colourful foliage, unusual flowers and decorative berries makes it an excellent feature plant for native gardens, screening and larger landscape plantings.
