Eremophila glabra ‘Silver Ball’ is a naturally compact, rounded Australian native shrub prized for its striking silver-grey foliage and exceptional toughness. Its neat, ball-shaped form requires minimal pruning, making it ideal for low-maintenance landscapes and formal or informal garden designs.
The soft silver foliage provides excellent contrast against green or darker-leaved plants and helps brighten garden spaces year-round. In warmer months, the shrub produces a profusion of small yellow flowers that are highly attractive to honey-eating birds.
Exceptionally hardy, ‘Silver Ball’ thrives in both coastal and inland conditions, tolerates drought and frost once established, and performs well in alkaline soils. A light annual trim and a single application of quality native fertiliser is all that’s required to keep this shrub looking its best.
