Mature height

Approximately 2–2.5 m when allowed to grow naturally; it may be maintained at a lower height through regular trimming.

Approximately 1.5–2 m.

Spacing

Plant approximately 50–75 cm apart for hedging. Allow approximately 1.5–2 m apart when growing as individual specimens.

Flowering Period & Fruit Development/Harvest

Maintenance

Low maintenance. Water regularly during establishment, then provide supplementary water during prolonged dry periods. Prune after flowering to remove old flower heads and maintain the desired shape. Apply a slow-release fertiliser during spring to support healthy growth and flowering.

Root System

Fibrous, spreading and generally non-invasive. Plant in freely draining soil and avoid prolonged waterlogging, which may damage the root system.
