Euphorbia aeruginosa (Miniature Saguaro)

Euphorbia aeruginosa, commonly known as Miniature Saguaro, is a distinctive clumping succulent prized for its upright blue-green to copper-green stems and contrasting reddish-brown spines. Its unusual architectural form creates a strong textural feature, making it an excellent addition to succulent collections, rockeries, gravel gardens and contemporary landscapes.

This slow-growing, low-maintenance succulent thrives in full sun to part shade and requires very well-drained soil with limited watering. Small yellow to copper-yellow flowers can appear along the stems in late spring, adding seasonal interest. Like other Euphorbias, it produces a milky sap that can irritate skin and eyes, so gloves should be worn when handling.
