A striking, tall-growing native sedge that forms dense, architectural tussocks with long, arching foliage. Its robust structure and textured leaves make it an excellent choice for adding height, movement, and a naturalistic feel to landscapes, particularly in larger gardens or native plantings.
During summer, it produces large, dramatic flower heads in dark brown to black tones, followed by vibrant red seeds that provide seasonal contrast and attract wildlife. Hardy and adaptable, it thrives in a range of conditions and is ideal for screening, erosion control, or as a bold feature planting.
