Ginkgo Biloba 'Mariken', commonly known as Mariken Dwarf Ginkgo, is a compact deciduous cultivar prized for its distinctive fan-shaped foliage and naturally rounded, slow-growing form. The fresh green leaves provide a unique ornamental texture through spring and summer before turning a spectacular golden yellow in autumn, creating exceptional seasonal colour.
With its compact habit, Ginkgo Biloba 'Mariken' is particularly well suited to smaller gardens, courtyards, formal borders and decorative containers. Its unusual foliage and brilliant autumn display make it an excellent feature plant, while its slow growth and manageable size allow it to provide the character of a ginkgo without the scale of the standard species.
