Grevillea banksii (Banks’ Grevillea)

Grevillea banksii is an attractive Australian native shrub with distinctive silvery-green, deeply divided foliage and striking clusters of red flowers. Its nectar-rich blooms are highly appealing to native birds and insects, while its dense, spreading habit provides excellent structure and colour in the garden.

Hardy and adaptable, Banks’ Grevillea performs best in full sun and well-drained soil, with good tolerance of drought and coastal conditions once established. It works beautifully as a feature shrub, informal screen, hedge or spreading groundcover, and responds well to pruning to maintain a compact shape.
