Grevillea olivacea ‘Red’ is a hardy Australian native shrub valued for its dense evergreen foliage and profusion of striking red spider-like flowers. The wide-leaf form provides attractive year-round foliage, while the vibrant blooms appear mainly through winter and spring, attracting nectar-feeding birds and native pollinators.
Fast growing and adaptable, this Grevillea is an excellent choice for screening, hedges, windbreaks, native garden beds and coastal landscapes. It performs best in full sun and well-drained soil, tolerates dry conditions once established, and responds well to pruning to maintain a dense, manageable form.
