Pot Size

Grevillea thelemanniana ‘Red Wings’ is a hardy Australian native shrub with a compact, spreading habit and fine-textured foliage. Growing to around 1.5m tall, it produces striking red spider-type flowers from winter through spring, creating a vibrant seasonal display.

The nectar-rich flowers are attractive to native birds and are also suitable for use in floral arrangements. This adaptable Grevillea performs best in a sunny position with well-drained soil and makes an excellent choice for native gardens, borders, informal plantings and wildlife-friendly landscapes.

A low-phosphorus fertiliser is recommended when feeding. Some Grevilleas may cause skin irritation in sensitive individuals, so protective clothing is advisable when handling or pruning the plant.
