Grevillea thyrsoides (Woolly Toothbrush Grevillea)

Grevillea thyrsoides, commonly known as Woolly Toothbrush, is a distinctive Australian native evergreen valued for its soft silver-grey foliage and vibrant toothbrush-shaped flowers. Its low, spreading form provides attractive year-round foliage, while the colourful blooms bring seasonal interest and nectar for birds and pollinators.

Growing to approximately 30 cm high and up to 1 m wide, Woolly Toothbrush is an excellent choice for groundcover, rockeries, garden borders and embankments. It performs best in full sun and well-drained soil and is drought tolerant once established, making it a hardy, low-maintenance addition to native and waterwise gardens.
