Hebe ‘Turkish Delight’ (Purple Hebe)

Hebe ‘Turkish Delight’ is a striking evergreen shrub admired for its deep burgundy to plum-coloured foliage and compact, bushy growth habit. The rich leaf colour provides year-round ornamental interest, creating a dramatic contrast with green foliage plants and lighter-coloured flowers. During the flowering season, small clusters of purple-toned flowers may appear, adding further charm to this distinctive foliage plant.

Ideal for garden borders, rock gardens and decorative containers, Hebe ‘Turkish Delight’ performs best in a sunny to partly shaded position with well-drained soil. Cooler conditions and good air circulation help maintain attractive foliage colour and healthy growth. Water regularly while establishing, but avoid waterlogged soil. Light trimming can help preserve its compact shape, making it a useful choice for adding texture and rich colour to smaller gardens and landscaped spaces.
