Helleborus × Ericsmithii HGC® ‘Shooting Star’ (Hellebore) is a beautiful winter-flowering perennial from the Helleborus Gold Collection®, valued for its elegant creamy-white flowers with soft pink reverse tones and attractive dark green foliage. The blooms are held above leathery, divided leaves with silvery veining, creating a refined display during the cooler months when many other plants are resting. RHS describes this cultivar as having creamy-white flowers with pink reverses that develop pink and green tones as they age.
This premium Hellebore is an excellent choice for customers wanting long-lasting colour in shaded gardens, winter containers, underplanting, and cool-season borders. It performs best in sun to part shade with moist but well-drained soil, and the official Helleborus Gold Collection listing gives 50–60cm growth, 80cm spacing, and flowering from January.
