Hemerocallis hybrida, commonly known as Daylily, is a hardy, colourful perennial valued for its graceful arching foliage and showy trumpet-shaped flowers. Modern hybrids are available in a wide range of colours, including yellow, orange, pink, red, purple and white, making them an excellent choice for adding seasonal colour and texture to garden beds and borders.
Easy to grow and low maintenance, Daylily forms attractive clumps and performs well in full sun to part shade. It is well suited to borders, mass planting, slopes and containers, and is drought tolerant once established. Regular removal of spent flowers and old foliage helps maintain a tidy appearance and encourages a fresh, vigorous display.
