Hyacinth Mixed is a hardy, perennial bulb renowned for its highly fragrant flower spikes and vibrant range of colours. The blooms appear in mid-spring, with each bulb typically producing a single dense flower spike filled with strongly scented flowers that attract bees.
This versatile bulb performs best in organically rich, well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Keep the soil moderately moist after planting to encourage strong root development, then gradually reduce watering after flowering as the bulbs enter dormancy. Removing spent flower spikes helps direct energy back into the bulb.
Hyacinths are excellent for garden beds, borders, containers and seasonal displays. Their rich fragrance makes them particularly appealing near entrances, patios and other areas where their scent can be enjoyed.
