Kalanchoe beharensis (Velvet Leaf Kalanchoe) is a unique, tree-like succulent shrub with large, arrowhead-shaped leaves covered in soft, felt-like hairs. The foliage matures into a striking rusty-brown colour, giving this plant a bold, architectural presence in any garden or container display.
Native to Madagascar, it thrives in hot, dry conditions and is highly drought tolerant, making it an excellent choice for xeriscaping or low-water gardens. From spring through summer, it produces clusters of greenish-yellow blooms, adding seasonal interest to its dramatic foliage.
