Lomandra longifolia x confertifolia, commonly known as Lime Tuff, is a compact, tufted evergreen grass with fine lime-green foliage that remains vibrant all year round. Its lush leaves form a dense, attractive clump, and during summer, small fragrant yellow flower spikes appear, adding subtle colour and texture to garden spaces.
Extremely hardy and low-maintenance, Lime Tuff thrives in full sun to part shade and is adaptable to a wide range of soils, including clay and loam, as long as they are well-drained. It tolerates frost and dry conditions, performs well under trees, and requires minimal care—no pruning is needed, with just an annual application of slow-release fertiliser to maintain optimal growth.
