Mammillaria gracilis (Thimble Cactus) is a small, clumping cactus valued for its compact size and distinctive cylindrical stems covered in fine white spines. Native to Mexico, it naturally forms dense colonies, making it an attractive choice for rock gardens, succulent collections, and indoor displays
In spring to early summer, it produces small pale yellow funnel-shaped flowers that form a ring around the stems, followed by small reddish fruits. Extremely drought-tolerant and low-maintenance, it thrives in bright light and well-drained soil, making it ideal for beginner cactus growers
