Mazus pumilio ‘Fairy Lights’ is a compact Australian native groundcover that forms a lush, low-growing carpet of fresh green foliage. Its softly textured, wavy-edged leaves create dense coverage, making it an excellent choice for filling spaces between stepping stones, softening garden borders and covering damp areas where many other plants struggle. It can also tolerate occasional light foot traffic once established.
From spring through autumn, delicate lilac flowers rise just above the foliage, adding gentle colour and attracting interest to pathways, pond edges and shaded garden spaces. Adaptable to sun or shade and especially suited to moist, boggy soil, Mazus pumilio ‘Fairy Lights’ is an attractive, resilient and low-maintenance choice for gardeners wanting fast, natural-looking ground coverage.
