Melicope elleryana, formerly known as Euodia, is a magnificent evergreen Australian rainforest tree prized for its lush tropical appearance, fragrant pink flower clusters, and broad spreading canopy. Its glossy green foliage provides year-round beauty, while spectacular masses of soft pink flowers bloom directly from the branches and trunk, creating a striking ornamental display that attracts butterflies, bees, and nectar-feeding birds.
Ideal as a feature tree, shade tree, or avenue planting, Melicope elleryana thrives in warm, humid climates with fertile, well-drained soil. Fast-growing and relatively low-maintenance once established, it develops into an impressive landscape specimen, making it a popular choice for parks, large gardens, and subtropical landscapes.
