Nemesia spp., commonly known as Purple Nemesia, is a charming compact perennial, often grown as an annual, that produces masses of rich purple flowers over an extended flowering season. Blooming from late winter through spring and often continuing into summer in cooler climates, the vibrant blooms create a striking display above neat green foliage. Its compact, bushy habit makes it an excellent choice for borders, garden beds, containers, window boxes, and hanging baskets, where it provides continuous colour and visual interest.
Renowned for its easy-care nature and prolific flowering, Purple Nemesia thrives in sunny to partly shaded positions and attracts bees and other beneficial pollinators to the garden. Its versatility allows it to blend beautifully with other seasonal flowers in cottage gardens, mixed borders, and decorative containers. Whether planted in groups or as a colourful accent, Purple Nemesia delivers outstanding ornamental appeal with minimal maintenance.
