Nepeta × Faassenii ‘6 Hills Giant’ (Giant Catmint) is a vigorous perennial known for its tall spikes of violet-blue flowers and fragrant grey-green foliage. It is widely used in cottage gardens, borders, and pollinator-friendly plantings where long-lasting colour and soft texture are desired. Its airy, upright habit makes it an excellent companion plant for roses and mixed perennial beds.
Giant Catmint thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, performing exceptionally well in dry, poor, or sandy conditions once established. It is highly drought tolerant and ideal for low-maintenance and waterwise gardens. Regular trimming after flowering encourages a second flush of blooms, extending its seasonal display.
