Pinus sylvestris ‘Spaan’s Slow Column’ is a refined dwarf form of Scots Pine valued for its narrow, columnar growth habit and attractive blue-green evergreen foliage. More compact and slower-growing than its seed parent, ‘Glauca Fastigiata’, it maintains a slender, upright profile that makes it particularly useful where vertical interest is needed without taking up much garden space.

After approximately 10 years, this slow-growing conifer typically reaches around 1.8–2.4m in height and 0.45–0.6m in width. Its distinctive architectural form makes it an excellent choice for narrow borders, courtyards, formal plantings, entrances and specimen planting.
