Poa labillardieri ‘Eskdale’ is an ornamental native Australian tussock grass valued for its soft, arching foliage and graceful flowering form. It develops dense clumps of fine green leaves, creating a flowing, fountain-like texture in the landscape
In warmer months, it sends up tall, airy flowering stems that can reach over 1 metre, adding movement and height contrast to garden plantings. Naturally occurring in moist forests and along creeklines, it performs best in enriched soils but is adaptable once established
This cultivar is widely used in modern native landscaping for its soft structure, erosion control ability, and habitat value
