Assorted Polyanthus produces cheerful clusters of brightly coloured flowers held above compact rosettes of deeply textured green foliage. The assorted range may include yellow, red, pink, orange, white, blue, purple and attractive bicoloured blooms, often featuring contrasting yellow centres. Flowering throughout the cooler months, these plants provide valuable colour when many other garden plants are resting.
Ideal for garden borders, mass planting, pots, window boxes and seasonal displays, Polyanthus is an excellent choice for customers wanting immediate winter and spring colour. Its compact habit makes it suitable for small spaces, while regular removal of faded blooms encourages a longer display. Although technically perennial, Polyanthus is commonly grown as a cool-season annual throughout much of Australia
